Orange Anchor

3050 K St, Washington, DC 20007

For Sunday brunch, my mom & I decided to explore Washington Harbour. Normally we go to Sequoias for brunch, which is our weekly ritual for some mother-daughter time. However, it was booked so we decided to try some place new in the area. Across the fountain, we saw a casual seafood restaurant so we decided to check it out.

We started off with their Spicy Ceviche. They overdid it with the jalapeños, but overall it was a good size portion to share. As for our entree's, we ordered their signature Orange Anchor Cheeseburger with a side of tator-tots & their Blue Crab Benedict. Everything was delicious & full of flavor. Another plus, was their Bottomless Brunch Pitchers. My mom & I decided to pair our meals with the bottomless mimosas.

As for the ambiance, their outdoor seating provided an up-front view of the other stores & restaurants. As well as, the fountain that sits right in the middle of the harbour. Overall, Orange Anchor is a good hang out spot if you just want something casual & by the water. If you're in the area, this is a must!

Xoxo,
