Hey guys! If you didn't already know, my family & I celebrated RJ's 21st birthday at our beach house in North Carolina. We were all in the mood for seafood & heard locals talk about Michael's Seafood Restaurant. So we decided to check it out!
For appetizers, we started off with (left to right) Sashimi Tuna, Fresh Black Mussels drunken in their signature local butter beer broth, Blue Fin Crab Dip, & Oysters Rockefeller. I loved the steamed mussels & crab dip the most! The steamed mussels had a unique taste because of the butter beer. I've never had anything like it! I'm not a big fan of oysters, but after trying their rockefeller oysters, I am definitely hooked. Just not raw oysters.. because ew? As for the raw tuna, never was a fan.. still not a fan. I just didn't like the texture, plus it had no flavor!
For entrees, I ordered two Crab Cakes served with house risotto & asparagus, RJ ordered their signature Seafood Mac & Cheese Bake, & we decided to share their Admiral's Delight for Two. Being seafood lovers, everything exceeded our expectations! My favorite dish here, would have to be the Admiral's Delight. It came with everything! Oysters, mussels, snow crab legs, & shrimp.
I recommend Michael's Seafood Restaurant for anyone in town. Not only do they suffice the needs of seafood lovers, but they also cater to those who aren't a big fan of seafood. Definitely check them out!
