I've recently started using Valena Naturals in my body-care routine. I love that their products are handmade with love & are all-natural. They contain absolutely no harsh chemicals that can irritate my sensitive skin. I wanted to review a couple products separately to really test them & give back an honest review. I've used them for a week now to see any changes. Keep in mind that I haven't used any other products while using Valena Naturals to really see some results. The first 6 products are listed below!
These products that i've tried are by far the best body-care products that I have EVER used. I don't like sharing my body-care products because i'm very secretive about it & I almost didn't want to review Valena Natural's products! BUT I am, I absolutely fell in love with these so here I go...
Good as Gold Face, Neck, and Hand Jelly for Troubled Skin lives up to its name! I usually have a severe case of eczema during the summer. I've tried everything! When I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. I've tried ointments, lotions, natural oils.. you name it. This jelly has helped my eczema disappear into thin air.. literally. No more itching & red bumps! I also apply this on the dry areas of my face. Such as my jawline, chin & lips for extra moisture. I love this product!
I've also read that it's good for keeping your heels soft. My boyfriend & I decided to try this one night by massaging the jelly onto our heels & wearing a sock over night. The next morning our heels were so so soft! This product is so versatile, it can be used for really anything!
Emica Sore Muscle Rub is amazing for bruises & sore muscles in general. I've used this twice now, on my shoulders & neck. The key is to massage the product into your skin. This has helped me relax & soothe the ache in my shoulders & neck after work.
Rose Clay & Lemongrass Soap is one of my favorite soaps. I love that it has two sides, one side is used for exfoliating & the other side is to lather. The scent is also very soothing, I love the smell of roses & lemongrass together. This leaves my skin squeaky clean & doesn't dry it out like most clay soaps that i've tried. The oils used to make this soap work very well together to also keep the moisture locked in.
Ebony & Ivory Soap is great for both men & women. It kinda has a woody scent of cedarwood which can come off as "manly" but I really do love the scent! I suffer from back acne & this has helped a great deal. The soap itself produces a lot of suds which allows a nice and smooth lather. The exfoliating properties in the soap remove dead skin without being too abrasive, leaving my skin feeling clean and refreshed.
Pomegranate Lip Balm & Goji Passionfruit Lip Balm smell AMAZING & they taste good, unlike regular chapstick where you can taste the chemicals used. I love that they're organic & keep my lips moisturized for long periods of time.
Organic Sugar Scrub ANYTIME CHRISTMAS... If you know me, you know how much I love coconut oil. I use coconut oil for almost everything! My hair mask, eye make-up remover, & occasionally an eyelash primer. When Valena Natural's sent me this sugar scrub, I was ecstatic to see coconut oil as one of their main ingredients. If you didn't know, coconut oil is superfood for dry & flaky skin. I use this once a week to exfoliate & add some moisture back into my skin! This sugar scrub is also really great for sensitive skin, its gentle & it isn't harsh like most scrubs that i've used. ALSO it smells ah-mazinggg! The smell consists of vanilla and cinnamon. It reminds of the winter holidays that's just around the corner! After using this scrub, I apply the MassagAway Body Oil which contains jojoba, argan oil & all that good stuff. This body oil is also great for dry, flaky skin. It doesn't leave a greasy/oily residue which I like. A little goes a loooong way AND I love that this product has a mild scent of lavender. This keeps my skin soft all day.
Lavender & Lace Goat Milk Soap At first, I was skeptical about using this product because it contained goats milk. I've never tried anything with goats milk but I thought... why not? I did my research and goats milk is great for dry/sensitive skin. It's also used for eczema & psoriasis. I used to have eczema as a child, but of course it went away. This past summer, I've been in the heat a ton due to traveling & festivals. This resulted to my eczema appearing again, but much worse! Mainly on the parts of my body that were most exposed, such as my arms and neck. This soap has helped reduce my eczema & relieve the itchiness/flaky skin. Normally, I feel the need to apply lotion immediately after showering. BUT after using this soap, my skin already feels moisturized. By far one of my favorite body soaps.
Big D's Shave Soap with lanolin, shea butter & bentonite clay This soap is great for both men and women! I start by lathering my legs with this soap & water. Once I have a good amount of suds, I proceed to shave. I also use this right after I shave because it leaves my skin feeling nourished! What I love about this product is that it contains all the best moisturizing ingredients in one. Such as shea butter, avocado oil, argan oil & oatmeal! My boyfriend has used this as well. He normally doesn't use shave soap because the ones he has used were either too harsh, or packed with fillers and parabens. After using this, it's all he'll ever use. Definitely the best shave soap around!
Cranberry Delight Himalayan Salt Scrub with Jojoba and Calendula Extract I was so excited to use this scrub because it contained pink Himalayan salt & Apricot oil. At my local herb store, they sell pink Himalayan salt & it has always caught my attention because of the light pink hues. Apricot oil helps with sore muscles, chapped skin and relieves the itch & irritation of eczema. Pink Himalayan salt is a natural antibacterial product that also increases hydration for our skin. I've wanted to try these two for quite some time but never knew how to add it into my weekly skincare regimen... Until this scrub came along! I use this as a body scrub twice a week to exfoliate. I absolutely LOVE the scent, it's very relaxing and the hint of lavender & cranberry soothes the soul. This scrub definitely does the job, it exfoliates without drying out my skin AND it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth without leaving an oily/greasy residue.
Peppermint Pick Me Up Soap with spearmint, avocado, argan and tea tree oils By far my FAVORITE body soap!!! If you know me, you know that I absolutely love peppermint essential oil. I use peppermint oil for almost everything.. my hair, lips, perfume, mosquito repellent and now body soap! I love this body soap because it leaves a refreshing scent and feel on my skin, especially during this hot summer. The peppermint leaves also add a nice touch in lightly exfoliating the skin for a daily bar soap. I also tried this on my face the other day since I ran out of face wash and this really helped reduce the dryness around my chin and jawline area, leaving my face clean and cool. Definitely one of my go-to soaps in the summer!
Cranberry Lemonade Exfoliating Soap with argan, avocado and cranberry seed oil Cranberry seed oil is great for dry-flaky skin, it increases hydration & antioxidants when absorbed deeply into the skin. One thing I love about this oil is that it's amazing for acne-prone skin. I've been suffering from back acne since high school. Before using this soap, I didn't know the benefits of cranberry seed oil. After I tried it, my back acne disappeared... like literally GONE. I use this soap 3-4 times a week to keep my skin clear. If you're suffering from back or chest acne, I definitely recommend this soap. It does miracles, just like the rest of Valena Natural's collection of soaps!
