Oils, oils, oils... and more oils!
If you've been following my recent blog posts, you'll find that I include oils in my skincare regimen every morning and night. Over the past two weeks, I've been using Amaki's Skincare products. I've received a lot of compliments on my skin and especially my hair!
I've noticed that when people ask me what my secret weapon is to clear skin and I reply with "organic, natural-OILS", they tend to be either surprised or hesitant. Which is completely normal! I used to be one of those LOL. I thought that by using oil on oily, acne-prone skin would only make things worse. So I was very cautious when switching to natural products. Can I just say THANK GOD I switched! It was one of the best things I ever did for my skin.
Lately, my hair has been super dry due to heat products and this sucky weather here in D.C. I can honestly say Amaki's Jasmine & Rose Nourishing Oil has helped my dry, lifeless hair find it's way back to a much healthier state. When I first opened the bottle, I was overwhelmed by the strong scent of Jasmine. It was like walking into a field of flowers! The bottle itself is so beautiful, it has tiny roses infused with the oil. I usually use this oil on my hair every other day after showering. I apply a small amount on damp hair and work my way up, focusing on the ends.
The next product I wanted to talk about is their Japanese Tsubaki Anti-Aging Face Oil. Its a beautiful blend consisting of tsubaki (camellia) oil, rice bran oil, argan oil, jojoba oil, sunflower oil, vitamin E, neroli flower oil (my fav!), chamomile german oil, and french lavender oil. This facial oil is full of antioxidants that helps nourish the skin to maintain a youthful glow. I apply this oil at night and just know that I'll wake up with plump glowing skin! This is my favorite product from their entire line!
Last but not least, their Konjac Facial Sponge with added charcoal. I love love loveeee Konjac sponges! They're so easy to use and they're perfect for sensitive skin. I love that this specific Konjac sponge has added charcoal because 1.) It draws out impurities from deep under, 2.) Removes the right amount of excess oils, and 3.) Removes any kind of white/blackhead within time. I use this every morning and night as I have an obsession with Konjac sponges! If you have super sensitive skin or just simply want to try something new, definitely look into this. It's so much fun to use, and it feels AMAZING on your skin!
Thank you guys for reading, definitely check out Amaki Skincare! They have a wonderful line full of organic, natural blends.
