I remember attending an evening mass at the National Cathedral with my grandma as a child and was always in awe of this place. It might sound a bit cliche, but I knew from the start that this is THE cathedral that I'll be walking down the aisle in my white Vera Wang wedding dress LOL.
12 years later....
Recently moving into my first apartment with my boyfriend of 4 years, we've been talking & planning out our future together. That being said, our dream wedding.. or should I say mine? A girl can believe in fairytales, am I right?! Well I can now, honestly say that I'm living in one. Meeting RJ was a blessing in disguise. I'll get into all that mushy gushy stuff later!
Our apartment is only 20-25 minutes away from the National Cathedral. RJ has never been, considering he is not catholic but willing to go to church with me every Sunday. (See ladies? Good guys do exist, I promise) So I just had to take him there! Obviously, he photographed me in the cathedral LOL.
The picture's don't do justice... but RJ fell in love with the cathedral, just as much as I did! Everything from the beautiful stained-glass windows to the neo-gothic architecture is absolutely breathtaking. I just can't wait until the day I book my wedding at this National Cathedral. It'll be a dream come true...
